advance although china develop economic ended fears happened late remains risk volume warning
We ended up OK, although most of the advance happened late in the day on the China warning and the volume remains light. There was the risk of new stagflation fears to develop out of the economic news, and that didn't happen, which was another positive.
buck cycle judging late market next rallying september small
I don't think we're going to buck the September trend, and I don't think we'll see a big sell-off. I think we'll see some rallying through the next week, and then a small pullback after that in late September, judging by the cycle the market has been going in.
extension jewelry late since spend
Since I filed an extension and probably will be late getting it, I will probably just go spend it. Nothing special, I would just say probably some jewelry for my spouse.
buy drop fearful good later major market start stories tech time weakness year
It's time to start anticipating a recovery. Buy on weakness and look at tech because I think there will be some good stories later in the year ? the time to be fearful of another major drop in the market is just not there.
conclusion continuing contribute economy global help high late next oil price prices summer supply three weeks
It's important that OPEC comes to a conclusion to help with global supply but it may be too late for the summer season. High oil prices do not help the economy and it will still contribute to inflationary numbers. Oil will be a continuing story to see how the price of oil reacts over the next three weeks to these increases.
dramatic earnings fed late market meeting news next until
There really isn't any dramatic news to come out post-Fed ? we're going to get into that earnings void, the next meeting for the Fed isn't until late June, so I think the story is how well the pullback in this market will be contained.
accumulate aware easier fed great investor late looking next problems rally small start stock summer tech technology three trading vigorous weak worried
I think it's too late to be worried about where your tech stock is going to go from here. There are some opportunities out there and we are aware of the short-term problems in the marketplace with the Fed being aggressive. So, we're not looking for a very vigorous rally over the next one to three months. There will be trading rallies. But the investor, the small investor, the intermediate-to-long-term investor should use the summer time, which is seasonally weak for technology stocks, to start to accumulate an easier way into some of these great companies,
bit dramatic earnings economy grace justify later picture saving seeing slower strong
(The GDP) doesn't justify the slower earnings picture later in the year. There's a little bit of saving grace in there because we're seeing a strong economy still with no dramatic inflationary prospects.
bit dramatic earnings economy grace justify later picture saving seeing slower strong
(The GDP) doesn't justify the slower earnings picture later in the year, ... There's a little bit of saving grace in there because we're seeing a strong economy still with no dramatic inflationary prospects.
band break extremely few last narrow stuck
We've been stuck in an extremely narrow band for the last few weeks, and this could break us out.
close curve deal extremely federal high hope market meeting next note rally recession reserve slowing until worried yield
It was unanimous we'd have a year-end rally until the yield curve inverted. We wanted to close the market on a high note this year, but now we're worried that the 2006 market will have to deal with this. The next Federal Reserve meeting will be extremely critical. We have to hope this isn't predictive of a recession or a slowing economy.
positive provide typical
It was a little better than a typical September, but it didn't provide any big positive surprises.
businesses collapsed investor losing tech
These companies' businesses haven't collapsed like tech companies' did. But they've withered and they're losing their reputations and their investor bases.
case closer concerns euro good help hope problem relieved resolved sign stocks today whatever
The stocks that are up today are euro-based. Let's hope we can make the case that the euro problem is closer to (being) resolved than before and that's a good sign today. Whatever overhanging concerns can be relieved will help the market.
