absolute close decision fact liked percent possible unable until
I don't think any of us liked the fact we were unable to make a decision. The thing is, I don't want to make a decision until we are absolute. I don't know if we're ever going to be 100 percent absolute sure, but I want to be as close to that as possible and right now I'm not.
afraid aggressive caught good looks plate
I don't want to take anything away from (Vazquez), but he caught us at a good time. It looks like we aren't aggressive at the plate and are afraid to make an out up there.
caught good
I don't want to take anything away from him, but I think he caught us at a good time.
hope
I don't think this one is as serious, We hope so. It's up to him.
against hitting weekend
He's not hitting yet but doing everything else. He'll hit this weekend and hopefully, we'll get him back against Detroit.
bit dimension easy gives playing
He's got a chance. He gives us a little bit of dimension that we don't have -- speed. He's going to get some playing time. It's not going to be an easy decision, that's for sure.
threw
Howell was awesome. He threw everything pretty much where he wanted to,
bad days serious sure
I'm not sure how serious it is. Hopefully, it's not as bad as the one in Arizona, when he was out 10 days or something.
days stand
I just can't stand still. One of these days I'm going to have to stand around, but while I can still do it, I'm going to do it.
nine wrong
In the nine games, we're doing everything wrong that we were doing right when we were winning.
anyway decided guy instructed move runs smarter throw
In that situation, with a basestealer on first and a guy that runs on third, with his move he was instructed not to throw to first. But he decided to anyway because he's smarter than I am.
dwell evaluate guys home mirror move next terms themselves
In terms of our record, that's just something we have to live with and move on. We can't dwell on it. Some of the guys should feel good, some of them shouldn't feel so hot. If they go home and look in the mirror and evaluate themselves the way they should, we should be much better next year.
games knew
I knew it was over 100 games. We'd get close, but not over the hump.
learning
I like his stuff, but he's still learning how to pitch.
