fun guys hit opposed sit watch
Offensively, it was fun to just sit back and watch our guys hit as opposed to scratching out every run.
bullets guys
There's not a whole lot of guys that have the bullets to get these guys.
field guys
That was very instinctive. I don't know if there are many guys on the field who could have done that.
bottom guys kid last line looked
I thought he looked the same as he did last year. The bottom line is he's a big kid who can get guys out.
character fits good guys looking player understand
From what I understand he pretty much fits the kind of player we're looking for -- good character and he's talented, and we can use as many of those kind of guys as we can get,
driving finish guys mail season three whatever
We don't mail it in ever. Whatever is driving these guys to finish the season we just need to do that for another three weeks.
bullpen good guys three
The good thing about our bullpen is our three guys can all close, with no problem.
catch extremely good guys hot pitch reason
We didn't catch these guys at a real good time. You know what? We didn't pitch very well, and a big, big reason for that is they've got some guys who are extremely hot right now.
benefit command far giving guys maintain needed pitch
There were some things we needed him to do as far as his conditioning. We needed him to maintain his stuff, which he has. But his command has not been good. We're kind of giving him the benefit of the doubt. A lot of times, big-league guys go to Triple-A and don't pitch that well. We need him to give us a lift. He's a big-league guy.
coming depending few guess guys players year
Depending on what year it is, with the young players we have coming up in the organization, I would guess there's going to be a few of our guys in that game.
everywhere faced game games guys handled newspapers played proud team themselves toughest tv worst
This game was so crazy. It's probably one of the worst games we played in the whole streak. I told the guys after the game that they handled one of the toughest times ever in baseball. A young team faced TV and newspapers and everywhere they read they were scrutinized. I'm proud of them. It was tough, but the guys handled themselves with class.
character doubted guys progress
I never really doubted the character of this team. Inexperience shows, and that's something we've got to live with, but the character has always been there. ... We've got a lot of young guys that need to show progress if we're going to get better, and I think they will.
above fit goes good guys league major notch possibly third utility whether
Graff, obviously, goes in a utility role, but probably a notch above that. We need to get him in the lineup as much as we possibly can, whether it is first, third or second. We'll be able to give those guys a day off here and there. Graff is a good Major League player. He's a good fit for our team.
dwell evaluate guys home mirror move next terms themselves
In terms of our record, that's just something we have to live with and move on. We can't dwell on it. Some of the guys should feel good, some of them shouldn't feel so hot. If they go home and look in the mirror and evaluate themselves the way they should, we should be much better next year.
