ball pitch pitching talking wants winter
I still don't think that he'll pitch for us. I know he wants to but ... he's talking about pitching winter ball and we're going to talk about that, too.
maybe might pitch thinking
Right now, we're thinking he might pitch one, maybe two more times,
early honest pitching
To be honest with you, the way Westbrook was pitching and the at-bats we were getting early on, I thought we had no chance.
biggest facing five guy mainly pitching runs tough
We just weren't able to do anything mainly because he was pitching so well. The biggest part of the day was the five runs early. When you're facing a guy like that, it's a tough situation.
feeling knew pitch
I don't know what he did when he went down to Triple-A, but there was just the feeling that he knew he could pitch up here. ... He's just been a completely different guy.
everybody hope pitches rotation turn upside
This rotation could turn upside down at some point. I just hope everybody pitches well.
although figure next pitch trying wants
We're trying to figure out what we're going to do next with Bautista. I still don't think he's going to pitch for us this year, although he wants to.
count kids pitch strict
We have a real strict pitch count for these young kids and he was at 97. We were going to let him go between 95 and 100.
count kids pitch strict younger
We have a really strict pitch count for these younger kids.
pitch walk
Walk A-Rod? And pitch to Giambi? How about that one?
catch extremely good guys hot pitch reason
We didn't catch these guys at a real good time. You know what? We didn't pitch very well, and a big, big reason for that is they've got some guys who are extremely hot right now.
benefit command far giving guys maintain needed pitch
There were some things we needed him to do as far as his conditioning. We needed him to maintain his stuff, which he has. But his command has not been good. We're kind of giving him the benefit of the doubt. A lot of times, big-league guys go to Triple-A and don't pitch that well. We need him to give us a lift. He's a big-league guy.
attention command deal dealing delivery far lack pay pitchers rangers repeat week
I think all their command was off, which is pretty typical. We're going to have to deal with lack of command for a while, as most of the Rangers pitchers were dealing with it, too. I don't pay much attention to it. Having them to be able to repeat their delivery is going to take some time. As far as results, I don't pay a whole lot of attention the first week to 10 days.
ball pitchers starters throw
I think it should be a lot better. It is going to need to be better because we're going to have some pitchers who are going to be able to throw strikes. Our starters will put the ball in play. It has got to be better.
