best biggest condition full paranoid pitch possible starting
I'm real paranoid about starting him now and without him being in the best possible condition to pitch a full season. That's my biggest concern. I don't know if he understands that or not.
beyond capable frankly limit quite routine time
You want to make all the routine plays, but frankly that ain't quite enough. You've got to go beyond your limit every once in a while. I don't know how capable of that we are. Only time will tell.
bit good guys maybe
And our other guys were just as good or maybe even a little bit better.
clicking confidence experience games good struggle winning
This is a good experience for them. Everything isn't clicking just yet, but they'll be a part of a lot of winning games someday. They're young guys. They struggle with their confidence sometimes.
good time
This is a good time to get out of here.
advantage along facing good great guy location situations
Their big guy was pretty good tonight. Great stuff, pretty good location to go along with it. Facing a guy like that, you?ve got to take advantage of any situations you?ve got. We didn?t get any tonight.
good pitch
He actually made a pretty good pitch to Manny. But, as you know, Manny has done that before.
anybody best goes healthy help hurt lack means might needs next rest season sure winter
In his case, because of the lack of innings, I think it might help him. I don't think it will hurt him. If anybody needs winter ball, it would be him. We want to make sure he's healthy going into the season next year, too, so if that means rest after he goes through all this rehab, that could be the best way to go, too.
concerned hits loses needs pitch pitches stamina work
I'm just concerned about his stamina and durability. He needs to work on getting up his pitch count. He hits 50 pitches and just kind of loses it.
I wanted to get them all out there together.
good reading
They're still reading the MRIs, but we got enough on his back that DL-ing him was probably a pretty good move. It's just really more preliminary than anything else right now.
bad
It was a bad game. I don't have a lot to say.
happened
I don't know how many times we've done that. It has happened a lot.
