extension signed time
We should have signed him to that extension a long time ago,
forward progress seeing
We think so. Then again, that's up to him. He's made a lot of progress in conditioning. We look forward to seeing him back.
separation
There's not a whole lot of separation between them, to be honest.
bullets guys
There's not a whole lot of guys that have the bullets to get these guys.
holes seems
We got back in the game, but it seems we never have enough. We have too many holes in the lineup to keep things going.
against best chances early good quite seen throw
We had a lot of chances early against a good pitcher, but we just couldn't get anything done. That is the best I have seen (Jose) Contreras throw in quite a while.
brown catch surprise

couple start woody
That was to cinch Woody up for a start in a couple of days.
almost games impossible

game
That was just a game where everything went right for us.
game hard lurking
I would never say it can't get worse. This game is too hard to play. There's always something lurking around the corner.
defense everybody outfield talking
I think everybody is talking about our infield (defense) being better, which it is. But our outfield defense is going to be better, too.
game impress matter trying
It doesn't really matter what kind of game it is. They're all just trying to impress all of us at this point.
