It was like my car would just stop, and everything I tried to do just wouldn't work.
It was more to get ready for this year. We had new people on board and we tried to build some momentum. We can't really jump to many conclusions here.
I've known Steve for a long time. He has a lot of talent and we're excited about where the team is now.
That pretty much sums up the kind of crazy year it's been. It's obvious that we feel a sense of urgency. We've got to start making some things happen.
It's still a game of Russian Roulette. There are so many cars fighting for the same piece of real estate that it's easy to get caught up in someone else's accident.
It's not as bad as it used to be in Turn 4, but Turn 2 is pretty extreme. The way you come off the corner, you've got nice banking but then it really flattens off. ...It just makes your car want to drift to the wall. That makes it really difficult to get side-by-side.
It's been awhile. What a great, great feeling.
It's been a while since my last win. What a great, great feeling.
It's a big, big deal to be on the front row.
It was going to be long night, no matter what. It wasn't a lot of fun. I didn't have car capable of getting in. No adjustments we made helped.
It was really a cool day to be able to get back in the top five and have something for those guys.
It was spectacular, probably one of the coolest things I think I've ever done. I'm so glad we got a chance to do it. It just puts a whole different perspective on life when you are in that type of an environment.
It was a very rewarding race and gratifying. I could get up to third or fourth but couldn't make those passes to get the rest of the way. Once we did get up front, the car was flying. To be able to drive from 15th all the way to third or fourth, I knew we had a good one. Once we got out front, we were awesome. I knew we were in great shape.
I want to apologize to the fans. That was absolutely uncalled for what happened today. To run that many laps under caution, all the disputes on pit road, I'm embarrassed by it and I want to apologize.
