Gregory Jack "Greg" Biffleis an American professional stock car racing driver. He currently competes full-time in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, driving the No. 16 Ford Fusion for Roush Fenway Racing. After racing in the NASCAR Winter Heat Series in the mid-90s, he was recommended to Jack Roush by former announcer Benny Parsons. The whole team is really excited about going to Dover this weekend, ... We feel strong about another top-five finish and possibly a win. You never know what could happen with tires and pit stops, but we definitely feel confident about a top five.
I'd like to leave here with a 30 point lead in the standings, ... This is a big race for us. With Talladega coming up next, you never know what can happen there. So we need a strong run, and I think we'll have one.
I was real nervous about coming down here, this is not our strong suit for sure. The car is driving really good, the car feels fast. I just have a good feeling about this race car, so I'm much happier now.
We need a strong run to rebuild the momentum we have lost in the last few weeks. A win this week would be a great rebound from the points we lost last week, and a victory in Ford's backyard is always something we want.
This is what we need to do. It's championship form right here. We wanted to win, but we came here and led a lot of laps and ran real strong and finished second. It just goes to show how solid this race team is.
I've qualified second I don't know how many times. Qualifying isn't my strong suit.
I know the 24 came down and kind of gave me a door slam down the backstretch.
I like racing at Michigan, ... There's a lot of room to race and we seem to do well there.
I'm kind of (working) off what I did last year, winning those five races at the beginning of the season, and kind of going toward what we learned at the end of the season. It seems to be working.
It's something I'm going to think about for a long, long time. I lost the championship by 35 points and we lost over 50 (points) with the loose wheel.
Everybody is going to have the same thing. To me, that's going to be disastrous. I've heard all secondhand information. I haven't sat down and said, 'What exactly are we going to be able to do?' but I heard that we're not going to be able to do this, we're not going to be able to do that.
That got me up in the fence, and then my car wouldn't go. That knocked the toe out of it, but I guess it's a good thing it happened then and not in the middle of the race.
It was hard to tell a lot of difference between the two cars. The balance seems really good on it, and I'm real happy with it so far.
They've got their work cut out for them if they're going to get under my skin. You can clearly see guys, the minute they get upset about something or get something in their head, they go crazy. There are two guys in the Chase like that. It's funny to see.
