We've liked him for a couple years now. He's quick out there and knows how to play the game.
business decision definitely less playing team travel
That would be a little hard, having a team in your own division, playing them 19 times. But that's a business decision for them to make. It definitely makes less travel for us, but we'd be playing a team in our division.

That win was huge for this ballclub. We go to Cleveland and we still have hope.

That was (coach Paul) Molitor yelling at the umpire, not me. I just raised and said, 'What?' and he told me to get out of here.
coming guy guys prototype quality run
That wasn't the prototype guy you like coming off the bench. You like a veteran, but he was one of our better guys doing it. He had quality at-bats in that role. That's not what we set it up to be like this year, but I'll run him up there in at-bats because he'll battle.

That wasn't even part of the plan. Kyle was not going anywhere unless we had the right offer for somebody to get an everyday position player in here, or a DH.

That was pretty fun to see. He even said afterward that he surprised himself.

That was kind of ugly. That's a little disappointing. Like I told you, that's why we haven't named our staff yet, because you never know what's going to happen.
bad baseball game missing taught
That was a real bad baseball game by our baseball team. Missing cutoff men, missing plays, you can go all over the field. That was real disappointing. You can't just play baseball like that. It isn't taught around here.
ball banging guys quality worries
That's the least of my worries as I see it. I'd like to see some guys banging the ball around and more quality at-bats. That will come to. It's early.

I would just like to get a list saying these are going and these guys aren't. It's kind of like flipping a coin daily to see who is going to play in this thing.

I would like to have one guy do it for most of the year. Go with one lineup and stick to it.
