ball catching chance clubs hardest might pitching talked winning work
We just talked about being a winning team, and what we're all about here. Pitching and catching the ball is what we do best. It's what we work hardest at. We have a chance to win. We can say that where a lot of other clubs can't. Well, they might say it. But they can't say it like we can.
chance joe remember separate star
The thing you have to remember is, Puckett didn't separate people. Everyone had a chance to be his friend. You could have been star or a Joe off the street, it didn't matter.
chance great guess sweep team three
We thought we had a chance to sweep them, but that's a great team over there. Two out of three I guess we'll have to take.
ball chance dagger guy throwing
We had a chance to put a dagger in them and take it to them. The guy is throwing the ball all over the place. We didn't get it done.
advantage chance everybody talking work
It's a work in progress. He's getting an opportunity. He's got to take advantage of it. Everybody has a chance in camp, all right? So there's no sense talking about does he have a chance.
chance everybody people
We'll have different people in there tomorrow. We're going to give everybody a chance to look bad.
baker base breaking came chance fastball finally gave good great high innings runs score
Baker was fantastic. He used his breaking ball, his changeup and had the high fastball working. He located pretty good. He gave us a great chance to win. It's unfortunate we couldn't score enough runs for him. Rincon came in and had two good innings for us, got out of the one, which was huge. Then we finally come up with the big base hit.
ball chance double hard hits playing turn
You're playing in between so if he hits the ball hard you have a chance to turn a double play. But he hit a little topper that you're not going to be able to do much with.
chance chip consistency good guys looking passed people pitcher talk wait
J.D., we're looking for a little more consistency from him. People talk about him being passed by, but he has the chance to be a good pitcher in this organization. He can't wait to get the ball. We like guys like that. He doesn't come in with a chip on his shoulder.
arm chance control dictate great injury last learn pitcher whether
He's just got to learn to control everything a little better. He did a lot better last year, they told me, but he had the arm injury and it's just got to keep improving. He has a chance to be a great pitcher in this organization, whether it is as a starter or a 'pen guy. We haven't really decided. He will dictate that.
chance hard issues monitor pumped scary throwing
He's going to be pumped up and throwing as hard as he can, and those are the scary issues you have. We don't get a chance to monitor him.
chance everybody people separate
He didn't separate people. Everybody had a chance to be his friend. He always made you feel welcomed. Not too many people like that.
came chance early four held innings played runs sweep time win
Any time you get a chance to win a series, that's what it's all about. We had a chance to sweep them here but they played well, they came back and jumped on us early and got some runs off Lohse in the first four innings and then held a lead.
chance offered proud
If you're offered a chance to play for your country, do it. That's a proud moment.
