definitely guys looking maybe month season start
But if guys aren't even close, you've got to start looking at maybe making changes. You definitely like to give them at least a month into the season and see where we're at.
needs
In the middle, you have to be vocal. And that's what he needs to understand. He needs to get down there and just take control. Play as a quarterback, if you will.
coming goes move next
By next Tuesday, we should have a roster move with him coming back if everything goes well.
drive home learn pitch runs
Home runs are going to come. He'll learn to take a pitch and drive it out of the ballpark. We don't really need to tell him what to do.
decision hardest needs people taking
Honestly, the hardest part of the decision was taking him out. I think he needs to get in there and keep swinging, but you also know you need to use other people here and there, too.
against hurt mistakes pitchers
If pitchers make mistakes against those guys, they can hurt you.
bring figure pitcher players
If you can figure out a way to get a pitcher up here, with all of our players down and hurt, and tell me who you want to take off this roster to bring a pitcher up here .
chance offered proud
If you're offered a chance to play for your country, do it. That's a proud moment.
good hit theories
If you have two different theories for where you hit in the lineup, you're a pretty good hitter.
excited good japan last leaves playing plus ready shape void year
Him playing in Japan last year kind of leaves us a void here as to what he's going to look like. We were told he was in good shape here and ready to go. He's excited about being back here and he's excited about being back with the Twins, so those are all good things. If he comes here in shape and healthy, then he can be a big plus for our team.
leaving spring sure
Him leaving after (the first week) is a little difficult. You'd sure like to have him for the whole spring training, but that's just not possible.
He's still a very young player. We know he's just going to get better and better, and he's doing it now.
himself hopefully pay staying within
He's staying within himself right now. He's been working very hard. Hopefully it's going to pay off for him.
baseball coming fun likes
He still likes baseball, I'll tell you that. He likes this team, of course, and he still has a lot of fun coming to these games.
