soon
I'd just as soon us do what we do,
soon watch
I'd just as soon not watch them any more, they look pretty good.
ball ballpark concerns guys hit offense pick
I'd like to see our offense pick it up, ... You're not going to always hit .300 with guys on, and you're not going to hit the ball out of the ballpark a lot of times, but we can be better at some of the little things right now. That's what concerns me more.
front game good
I'd like to put on a better show. It's embarrassing to play like this in front of our hometown. It was just not a good game for us tonight.
bounce course games lost mind question season tough
I don't know. We have lost some tough games in the course of the season and managed to bounce back. No question in my mind that we will bounce back and play well.
ball hit
I don't know what would have happened, ... but clearly, the ball hit the bat.
backup guy job looking pitching rotation seventh staff
I don't know what our pitching staff is going to look like at the end of the rotation yet. We're still looking for that seventh guy in the bullpen. I don't know what I'm going to do with our backup catcher's job yet.
baggy excited happy utilize
I am excited to no end that Bagwell is with us now, ... We'll be able to utilize Baggy and I'm happy for him.
bases break fought love nobody seeing seem teams trouble
Most teams love seeing the bases loaded, nobody out. We seem to have a little trouble with it. We fought in the game, though. We had other opportunities, perhaps, to do some things. We just couldn't break through.
everybody good playing plays respect somebody spring stays training until wait
Obviously, when you have depth, it's good in one respect for the team, but it's difficult, because if everybody stays healthy, somebody doesn't get much playing time. We'll have to wait until we get to spring training to see how that plays out.
afternoon everybody nice softball sunday
Nice Sunday afternoon softball game, where everybody got to play.
blessed certainly few flexible guys jeff nice past picking pieces wilson
One of the nice things about picking up Preston Wilson is if it were to be that Jeff is not going to be there, then we certainly have depth, and that's one of the plusses. We have pieces that can move, and we've been blessed in this organization over the past few years of having guys that are flexible and can play different positions. We have catchers that can play first base, so we're OK.
ball basically bit couple exception home innings outing threw
I would say he threw pretty good. He's probably a little bit rusty, but still threw pretty good. The first couple innings he was sharp. With the exception of a couple home runs, I thought he threw the ball pretty good. It was basically his first outing of the spring.
days past struggled woods
I would have thought Berkman was out of the woods and would not go back in it. I'm disappointed he's struggled in the past 10 days or so.
