expecting guys pitching pressure
What you're expecting from those guys is always pitching in pressure situations,
expect eye good hit home runs strength
I don't think his strength is there. To expect him to hit home runs would be optimistic. He still has a good eye at the plate. He still has quickness.
based basically expected feels last throwing
Let's see how he feels tomorrow. That's about kind of what I expected based on (the fact) he's been throwing off and on every other day basically for the last week.
expect follow game medical orders plan position
We will follow the doctor's orders. Every day, we'll have a game plan that is a medical game plan for him so that we don't expect something from him or put him in a position that he shouldn't be in. We will follow the doctor's orders on this medical rehab, and then we'll see where he goes.
absolute cubs expect given guys looks mistake played teams tough
It looks like it's favorable, but it's not, ... Those teams have played us very well. It would be an absolute mistake for us to think this is favorable. Milwaukee's played us tough, and Pittsburgh's played us tough and the Cubs can play us tough. ... These guys will play us good, and we can not expect anything to be given to us. That's a fact.
bunch couple expect nor offensive pitching supposed surprise
It was supposed to be a pitching series. It wasn't that at all; it was very much an offensive series. You just don't know what to expect sometimes. So, it wouldn't surprise me if we see a bunch of 2-1, 3-2 ballgames. Nor would it surprise me to see a couple of eight- or nine-run games.
bit contend expect last pennant team
We're a team in a little bit of a transition. But I still expect us to contend. And I didn't even expect us to contend for the pennant last year.
expects front mantra owner team
We're a team and an organization that expects to win. That's the mantra from our owner and, I think, from our front office, too.
ability drive drives expecting hits home hope pop runs
He should give us some pop in the lineup and the ability to drive in some runs. We hope he drives in 100 runs and hits 30 home runs. That's what we're expecting from him.
expected slow starter time
He did OK, probably a little better than I expected for his first time out. He's a notoriously slow starter anyway, so I thought he was OK, pretty good.
expect extra guy options start
He'll be an extra guy that can pinch-run. I wouldn't expect him to start right now. In September, you like to have as many options as you can.
expect
I know he's disappointed and I would expect him to be disappointed.
baseman expected happen hard throw throwing until ways
He's not really had to make a throw, we've only had one throw from a first baseman all spring. While he's probably throwing about what I expected right now, he's still got a ways to go. He hasn't had to make a throw to second, hasn't had to make a quick, hard throw and we don't know what's going to happen until that happens.
again expect talked yesterday
I do have some reservations about it. I talked to Willy yesterday about it, and I told him it was only a yesterday thing, and here I am doing the same thing again today. I know he's disappointed, and I would expect him to be disappointed.
