gave hold instead lead passive played score three took trying
We gave away so many opportunities with the turnovers. They didn't score on them, but they took us out of scoring. I thought we played so passive in all three of the overtimes once we got the lead. We were trying to hold on to the lead instead of being aggressive.
burn four guys halftime kept open quarter reason shots soft third though three won
We just kept scratching. I told our guys at halftime that I thought our first half was as soft defensively as we'd been all year. And we started our third quarter out the same way. They got three or four open shots and I had to burn two timeouts but then I thought our bench, even though they were outscored in a big way, was the reason we won the game.
bottom four game games
We just have to win. Bottom line, every game is a must-win for us, when you look at the percentages, being down four games with 13 to play.
came great guys luggage minds
Turnovers killed us. Some guys came with great effort, and some guys had their minds and luggage on the plane.
extremely guys heard time
You heard their voices. Our young guys were extremely verbal. It's the first time we heard their voices.
definitely deserving strong
When you look at his progress, you definitely have to give him strong consideration for the All-Star team. He's deserving if he makes it.
bad ball hold impossible offense passing pressure putting
With our bad passing and turnovers, we are putting so much pressure on our offense that it's impossible for us to hold it. We have to be better with the ball and better defensively.
classy gets human team tony tough
Tony Dungy is as classy a human being as you will ever know. This is a tough one. I don't know how a team gets through that, to be honest.
against choice conscious gone good guys proud stay team tonight
Tonight was good because it was against a team that had to win. When we got down, we could have gone the other way. It was a conscious choice by our guys to stay in the game. I was really proud of them.
decision far
This was by far the worst, the toughest. I'll second-guess every decision I made, and everything we did.
game needed team throwback win
This was an important win for us. In our standards, this was like a throwback game defensively. So, it was what we needed. I think this team needed this win.
future great obviously potential talent talking
We keep talking about the future and obviously you see all the talent, young talent but it's still potential. It's great to have potential but it's better to have it realized.
collapse nearly teams total
We're not out of it. But it's going to be nearly impossible, obviously, to get in. We need to have a total collapse of two teams (including ninth-place Chicago) now.
ball chris defense early game good hands somebody
The defense was good for the most part all night. I thought early on, Chris Paul, that was the game plan, just try to get the ball out of his hands and make somebody else make plays.
