care good himself love taking
Obviously, he's taking care of himself a lot better than he used to. I just love the way he competes, and I love the way he cares. He's a good teammate. That's what I like.
grown seems
It seems like he's grown up. It seems like he has so much confidence.
behind consistent early game offensive seems
It seems like every game we play we get behind early and we just can't -- we don't have any kind of consistent offensive attack.
It's probably going to keep him out a week. It's been sore. He could've probably played, but they're going to put him in a boot.
team
It's unexplainable, really. I don't think we're a playoff-contending team by any means, but I don't think we're this bad.
playing row team won
It's unbelievable, isn't it? We won two in a row from a team that has been playing pretty good.

They had been struggling a little bit. They just broke out.

I told Phillips I'd have him catch back-to-back days before the season was out. He deserved it.
earlier good less might problem spring threw
It might be earlier than that. He threw good and had no problem with his knees. Now he's more or less going through Spring Training.
behind game might threw
It might have been the play of the game when he threw behind Everett,
call good happen hitting huge
It's all about pitching. If you get good pitching, you have a chance, and they've got some hitting over there, too. It doesn't happen overnight, but it's not what you would call a huge surprise. I could see it progressing.
hope needs sake sort
For his sake and our sake, I hope he (Mays) got some sort of feel for what he needs to do.
coached game hope league seen unheard
It just didn't make any sense to me. I've never played, managed or coached a game like that. To see a big league game like that is unheard of. I've never seen anything like that. I hope I don't see it again.
