angles blue cut extend finally moments net portion shots
He may not have been in the blue (paint) when the shots finally came, but there were moments when he was in the blue paint. And as a goaltender, there's no way that you're going to be able to come out and cut down angles and take away a portion of the net if you're not able to extend yourself.
chance days few game gets remains situation whether
He may be around for a few days just to give us a chance to do that. Whether that gets him into a game situation remains to be seen.
against explain game good guys kevin maybe played problem start
Henrik played fine, I have no problem with that at all, but Kevin had a really good game against these guys to start the season. Those are those intangibles that I have the right to use and maybe not even explain if I don't feel like it.
awe good hope kitchen respond seem sink test throw
Henrik doesn't seem to be in awe of any opponent. If I know Hitch, they'll be ready. It's a good test for us. I hope they throw the kitchen sink at us and that we're able to respond to it.
believe nailed seal sports
He nailed the big one. We believe we have the goaltending that can seal the deal.
nailed question rise
He nailed the big one. The question was, can he rise to the big game? And he did.
feeling love loves preparing team
We're preparing for a team we love to play and who loves to play us. My feeling is we'll be much better.
ability advantage anybody beat feeling gained hockey strongly
If there is an advantage to be gained by this, it's that we think we can beat this team. We feel like we can come in here and win, that's an important feeling to have as a hockey club. You've got to be really feeling strongly about yourself and your ability to beat anybody any night.
certainly choose individual judgment perform recognized season suggested
I suggested it's judgment day for a lot of reasons. I did not allude to anyone's individual status. But this season certainly could be recognized by how we choose to perform on Saturday.
circumstance deadly last
That's a pretty deadly combination. You don't last long under those circumstances.
caring deliver good honest ice people player reward time work
I just like his good, honest work habits. And he's a caring player and a good teammate. And when you reward people like that with good ice time and opportunity, more often than not they'll deliver to your expectations - as long as they're realistic.
emotional sit thinking
I'm thinking I'd better not make an emotional comment. I'll just sit down and think it through and do what's appropriate.
basically correct hard period quite school sure third
I'm not sure that we competed hard enough for the first 40 minutes, and the third period was just basically a penalty-kill period. There's not a lot to like about the game, quite honestly. But we'll go to school and correct ourselves.
caught sure
I'm not sure we got caught tired. I think we just got caught flat-footed.
