assess both careful chance putting sure
We're going to be really very, very careful here and make sure that we give him a chance to assess where he is, both psychologically and physically, before we even contemplate putting him back in.
chance doubt ourselves parade stuff
There's no benefit-of-a-doubt stuff in the playoffs. You're in the big parade now and you have to participate. If we give ourselves a chance to play five-on-five hockey, then who knows?
beat chance colors decent game ourselves quite sound wears win
We have to play fundamental, sound hockey, with him in or out of the lineup, quite frankly. And if we give ourselves a chance with whomever wears the colors to play five-on-five or better, we have a decent chance to win the game. Basically, we beat ourselves (in Game 1).
chance looking ourselves win
If we give ourselves a chance 5-on-5, we'll get that win we're looking for. If we don't, it's short.
chance exactly hands looking ourselves series win
If we're going to win this series anyway, with or without Jagr, we have to have all hands on deck. If we give ourselves a chance 5-on-5, we'll get exactly what we're looking for. If we don't, it's short.
chance giving hot ourselves ride
We're giving ourselves the chance to ride the hot guy.
chance chose clearly fighting given good guys hockey lost needed ourselves period players playing poise saw second selfish simple talked team themselves win
It's a team that lost its poise and it's composure, simple as that. We clearly talked about what needed to be done in the second period and if we would have given ourselves a fighting chance by playing even-up hockey, there's a good chance we win the hockey game. We lost our composure, saw some selfish hockey, some undisciplined players and some guys who chose to think of themselves before their teammates.
chance game giving kevin last mind time tough
We have to get Kevin going, get him rolling. I wouldn't mind giving him a chance to go back and play the Islanders. He had a tough game the last time he was there.
chance emotional fact four gives hurt olympic three tough type weeks
Three to four weeks gives us a chance at four. It's an emotional roller-coaster for him. He's never had this type of injury, so first, the fact that he's hurt and that it interrupts his Olympic experience, it's pretty tough for him.
assess both careful chances hard less playing putting scoring sure system within
As long as we're working hard and playing within our system we should be able to get scoring chances with him out there at less than 100 percent. But we're going to be really very, very careful here and make sure that we give him a chance to assess where he is, both psychologically and physically, before we even contemplate putting him back in.
box chance dealing early game incapable late obvious ourselves penalty stay types
You're in the 'big parade' now, and you have to participate. If we give ourselves the chance to play five-on-five hockey, then who knows? This is something that's been in our game early in the season, late in the season, and it's obvious that we are incapable of dealing with these types of situations. We have to stay out of the penalty box to give ourselves a chance.
chance days few game gets remains situation whether
He may be around for a few days just to give us a chance to do that. Whether that gets him into a game situation remains to be seen.
chance earlier expectation felt happening reasonable year
I felt we had a reasonable chance of making the playoffs. Earlier in the year when this (success) was happening to us, it was pretty neat. We have an expectation now.
game talked
We talked about it as being a playoff-like game for us.
