advantage anybody describe fine others seem soon
I'd just as soon describe it the way it is but I think, at the same time, I don't want to give anybody any kind of advantage with others that others don't seem to share. If those are the rules, that's fine with me.
again saw watch
I'd like to watch this over again to see if what I saw was real.
certainly far four games mission race
Mission important and possible. It's a race to four games and they've only got three. As far as I'm concerned, we can certainly do that.
figuring full hard last maybe nearly ourselves tonight work
Maybe we got too full of ourselves after the last game, figuring we'd arrived. It's not about arriving. It's about working to get somewhere. And we didn't work tonight - not nearly as hard as we have to.
angry blow challenge figured full game last maybe ourselves respond terrific
Maybe we got too full of ourselves after the last game and figured we had arrived. I'm not going to blow a gasket, but I'm angry that we didn't respond to a really terrific challenge for us.
beat devils jersey penalty
One thing I'm sure, we're not going to beat the New Jersey Devils from the penalty box.
chance looking ourselves win
If we give ourselves a chance 5-on-5, we'll get that win we're looking for. If we don't, it's short.
chance exactly hands looking ourselves series win
If we're going to win this series anyway, with or without Jagr, we have to have all hands on deck. If we give ourselves a chance 5-on-5, we'll get exactly what we're looking for. If we don't, it's short.
bit certainly continue delivered develop good gotten happen hockey minutes needed point watching work
Certainly he delivered what he needed to do for us from that point of view. I'd like to have gotten him a little bit more minutes and that'll happen in the future. Just watching his game, he's got good hockey sense. We'll continue to work with him . . . and develop him even further.
But there's not much to like about the game.
attached certainly execute game guess remains whether
My guess is we'll certainly be emotionally attached to the game like we should. Whether or not we execute in a way we want remains to be seen.
beyond capable hope inspired players presence
My hope is that other players are inspired enough by his presence to really put out beyond what they've been capable of in the past.
becomes benefit box clear dealing doubt happy incapable nor obviously ourselves parade penalty pressure situations stay suggest types
Obviously the penalty parade would suggest I'm not completely happy at all, nor should (the players) be. There's no benefit of the doubt in the playoffs. You're in the big parade now and you've got to participate. It becomes obviously clear we're incapable of dealing with the pressure of these types of situations well enough to stay out of the penalty box and give ourselves a chance.
above beyond call defend desire duty gone good guys habits hockey honest proudly work
Let's be honest about this hockey club, gang: These guys have gone above and beyond the call of duty from Day One. One thing we can proudly do is defend this team's good intentions, their work habits and their desire to win.
