I think that what's happening now is that this side of the pond is starting to realize exactly how good this young fellow is. Certainly in Europe and those of us who have had experience over there sort of saw this coming ? not to this degree, I'm not going to take credit for that. But certainly people are starting to realize this guy's for real.

It is important to experience everything that you might see in the playoffs. But having said that, we have to make sure that we don't assume anything...And if we play the way we did tonight, it's going to be a tougher road ahead of us than we think.

I think the trick was getting him in an environment that he could flourish. I still think there's a lot there. I don't think anybody should be surprised by this.

He said he felt a little tight. By the time I left the ice, I wasn't aware there was much of a problem. But certainly talking to (trainer) Jim Ramsey afterwards he felt very uncomfortable.

He's a smart enough kid. Obviously, he finished up when maybe he shouldn't have.

He's a terrific young player who fits so nicely into their scheme. He's just a selfless player.
