It's tough to play when you don't have the energy.
That's probably the highlight of my career. I scored a couple goals, it was a fun game. We made some great plays, some fun plays. That sticks out in my mind.
That's part of my job, to create some chances for us. We did everything we could except win.
That's something he would say. No, he's playing well. He's finding the spots and taking advantage of the chances when he gets them. It's not a fluke that he's in the spots he's in. He knows where to go. He works hard. He's not a guy who's a perimeter guy. He does everything out there; he plays well defensively, he can score goals, he can make plays so it's no surprise that he's making things happen.
It's big. It's something that we've been talking about for a long time. Every time we play them this year it's been something that's been brought up, so it's nice to finish it and move on.
It was nice to play here. We had our chances, we just weren't able to cash in on our opportunities.
It was nice to get the first one out of the way.
It was nice. It was sold out, good atmosphere. It would have been nice for a better finish.
It's nice to finally get one. It's nice to be able to contribute.
It's nice to have that out of the way. I am looking forward to getting on the ice every day.
It's nice to have that out of the way and (be able to) just focus on playing here,
It's something that's been talked about a lot, so it's nice to get it and nice to have the weight off the shoulders, too.
It's special, not only for him but my whole family. We pretty much all grew up Montreal fans but, with him being drafted by them, seeing me play in this building against a team that drafted him I'm sure it's a little more special.
It's something you dream about, scoring in the NHL. There's a lot of emotion that comes out of that. But it would have been nice if we had finished it off.
