The chances were there for us. But you fall behind like that and you don't give yourself a chance to win.
You want to stay away from that, ... I've had a lot of chances, and I haven't been able to put a few in, but they're going to come. I've hit some posts, and it's a matter of making sure when I do have chances, I bear down.
You can't afford to go out there and watch too much, ... If you get caught watching, you're not going to get to the puck and not going to make good plays.
The lead is important, especially at home. We stressed that. It was definitely nice to get the lead.
You'd have to ask him, honestly. The puck was there and I just went toward it.
You can't give up. You've got to keep battling to the end. Winning is a habit. You can't accept losing. Losing is a bad habit to accept.
I'm trying to learn as much as I can out there, but I'm confident in what I can do,
I don't think you're human if you don't get nervous.
It seems like yesterday I was up there watching my first NHL game, and I was skating on the ice this time. It brings back memories, but at the same time it's something I'll remember forever.
Breakaway goals are fun.
I feel comfortable, I'm definitely feeling challenged but with each day I gain more experience. I'm just trying to improve each day.
I'm most comfortable definitely when I'm on the ice. I love to play. It's something that I just love to do.
It was amazing. You don't have a choice but to play your best. They force you do do that because they're smart and that's the fun part for me, I'm being challenged to think faster and be creative.
My dad introduced me to the game, gave me a stick. Since then I've had a passion for it.
