basketball improved mind player
In my mind, he's the most improved player in the league.
ben expect games score
I guess, yeah, you could say. It would unrealistic to expect Ben to score 30 games a game.
assumption guess start
I guess the assumption I'll go under is that we'll start the same way we did (Saturday) night.
awful gotten guys opponent plays point reason somebody
I had 20 or something and guys have gotten into the 20s, so there's reason to think that at some point somebody is going to do it. But the opponent had an awful lot to do with that, and no one plays like that anymore.
almost best chase explain four good hard job kirk late overall players possession screens stronger taller wore
If you never done it the way Kirk does it, it's hard to explain how hard it is to chase some of the game's best players around two, three, four screens sometimes in the same possession and almost always taller than him, sometimes stronger also, so he does such a good job of it. I thought it wore him down a little bit, but he really responded late in the game. I thought overall it was (one) Kirk's better games.
consistent key separates teams top
If you look around the league, other than the top teams, all the teams try to get to be a consistent team. The only way you get to be a consistent team is if you get a consistent effort, especially from your key guys. That's kind of kind of separates the teams.
ball fourth lost poise quarter ran time turned
In the fourth quarter they turned it up right at the same time we started to turn the ball over. We kind of lost our poise out there and they ran away from us out there. That was it.
ball good passed played player players role settled shot year
He's settled into the role of being one of the first players off the bench. He's shot the ball well for us. He's passed it. He's played very good defense. He's just a very good all-around player and is having a very good year for us.
chain dealing events hard setting time
He's setting off a chain of events that we're having a hard time dealing with.
earlier energy front played screens tonight unlike
He set screens and got in front of the rim. He played with more energy on offense. And tonight was very aggressive, unlike earlier in the year.
badly hurt
I don't know how badly he was hurt. So no, I wasn't surprised.
bit either game moment ourselves plays sharp stay team turned
I didn't think either team was especially sharp tonight, to put it mildly. It was anybody's game for the taking. They turned it up a little bit and we weren't able to make any big plays to stay with them, we could have at any moment exerted ourselves we could have come back, we just couldn't do it.
good replay sure
I didn't see the replay yet, but I'm sure it was a good call.
burned tried whenever
Whenever I've tried it, he's burned us. But it would be on the table.
