backup blocks center changes defender ends game great minutes plays shots
He plays 20 minutes a game and consistently blocks shots all over the place. He's a great defender and still changes ends very well. He's an intimidating-type player. To have a backup center like him is a luxury.
amount business five score stops three time trouble
I don't think we had any business being in overtime. We're up by five with 1:44 to go. As has been the case, we've had trouble getting stops. You're up five with that amount of time left, you don't need to score if you can get two or three stops in a row.
business five game last point score three won
I don't think we had any business being in OT, anyway. You don't have to score if you get two or three stops. As has been the case, we had trouble. Five point lead, buck-forty to go; that's a game we won last year.
best excited game great hopefully pro settle shape work
He's in the best shape of his pro career. We're excited about it. Hopefully he can settle in now and work on his game and have a great year.
bulls came conclusion contract credit far guy himself outright pressure putting quite signing sort tough traded trying tyson
I don't need to take any credit for that. Tyson just kind of came to the conclusion he was putting too much pressure on himself and trying to live up to some sort of unrealistic expectations. That's the first significant contract around here for quite a while -- the Bulls have traded for some, but as far as an outright signing of a guy. ... It can be tough for a young guy to handle.
above believe beyond comment happen league officials
I do believe the officials are doing their best. They also happen to be one part of the league that is beyond comment ? above and beyond comment.
team reality new-orleans
I don't know how satisfied you can be when we still have a losing record. We feel like we're definitely playing better. The reality is we're about to find out. Our toughest West Coast trip is normally the circus trip in November. This year, they're flip-flopped. We did well on the first West Coast trip 3-3. Now, this is a big one. All these teams Dallas, New Orleans, Phoenix, Utah, Denver, Sacramento and the Los Angeles Clippers are quality teams. Each team is really playing well. It's going to be a big challenge for us.

Basketball is like Religion. Many attend but few understand.
coming gain game good guys home momentum
These guys can go home with a good game under their belts. I think that is important, that we gain a little momentum coming out of the break.
game turn
A lot can turn on this game tonight.
choice coming either fight game handling inevitable ourselves points posture run
You could see it coming in our posture and the way we were handling ourselves out there. It was inevitable they were going to make some kind of run. There was no way we were going to run away from them. There are points in the game where you have a choice to make. Either fight or flee.
defending far formula situations stray win
You can't stray far from our formula that we win with, ... A lot of situations where athletically we're a little overmatched, we know we've got to make up for it by defending and hustle.
asked dollar time wait
If I had a dollar for every time someone asked me that question... wait a minute, I do have a dollar for every time I've been asked that question.
allow belief bit blame blaming endorse factors simple system
I can't allow us to be blaming other factors for the way that we play. There's a very simple thing to do under those situations, and that's play better. We've done that a little bit too much this year: blame the refs, blame other situations, and that's not a belief system that I can endorse n ever.
