good range roller saw slow
Very smooth. His range is not as good as it once was, but you saw him charging in on a slow roller and making it look very, very simple.
good start
We feel pretty good when you start writing out a roster. Even with the injuries, it's not bad.
creek soon
You get yourself up a creek right then, as soon as you do that.
expect game
You expect that. He's been in this game a long time. He'll do what he has to do to get ready.
healthy struggling
We are struggling and not healthy right now, and they got us.
amazing building excitement fans halfway line waiting
There was a line halfway around the building at around 5:15 waiting to get in. It was amazing to see the excitement that the fans have.
deserves good guy
The way Lew is playing, he deserves to be out there. He's been our igniter lately, the guy that's really been playing. He's doing a lot of good things for us so we have to keep him in there.
beat catcher games happy risk
The risk of a catcher getting beat up in the World games is pretty high, and I'm happy to have my young catcher here.
open seen
I've never seen that open of a stance.
baseball charlotte port spring team wonderful
It would be wonderful for us if Port Charlotte got a baseball team for spring training.
face help learn people serious understand wants
This is serious, very serious, and a lot of people are going to learn from this. We're going to help him get through this thing and make him understand how serious this is. He wants to face the penalty, and that's the right thing to do.
guys sure together wonderful
This is pretty neat. I'm sure getting back together for these guys is nice. It's a wonderful thing.
runs
Offensively, we didn't do too much. But we scored the runs when we had to.
afraid guy heck street voted
Street is the guy I voted for. He's a heck of a competitor, and he's not afraid on the mound. He's pretty phenomenal.
