continue force imposing knowing level maturing people playing rather reason taking understanding
He's maturing and knowing and understanding what he has to do to be successful. I think he's kind of imposing his will on people rather than just taking what people force him to do. . . . He's just playing with a lot more confidence. . . . I don't see any reason why he wouldn't continue to play at that level in the playoffs.
gave great huge impact takes team work
He's made a huge impact defensively. He takes on the better players, makes them work. He's a great team defender. He gave us new energy.
sustain
He's in shape, much quicker. He can do the things he used to do. Now all he has to do is sustain it.
anybody complain four
I'm not going to complain about this. We've got four more to go. If we keep winning, there's nothing anybody else can do about it.
chance cost forced game guys impatient issue minutes second stop three tied win
In the second half, we didn't stop them. I have to give my guys credit. We had the chance to put it away. When it was tied with three minutes to go in the game, we didn't do what you have to do to win a game like this. We were impatient and we forced the issue and it cost us the game.
ball dominated game moving shooting
The first 3 1/2 quarters, I don't know where we were, but we weren't into the game and (the Warriors) pretty much dominated it. I don't have an answer. We just never got it going and they started shooting better and moving the ball better.
carry far guys needs pass willing
The guys so far have been very willing to pass to each other, and that's something that needs to carry over into games,
ball effort great last rebound
A great effort that last part of the game, but you get down to the end, you've got to rebound the ball and we didn't rebound the ball.
effective steve
You want to know who's really underrated? It's Shawn Marion. He's just as effective as Steve Nash is for that team. If they didn't have him, they wouldn't have the same team.
chance fourth quarter row three turned
You've got to give yourself a chance in the fourth quarter. I don't know what we were down in the fourth quarter and we turned it over three times in a row and that was a killer. You can't do that. It was just unforced turnovers.
attack consistent defend effort execute finish games rest road within year
You've got to defend and you've got to execute when you're on the road and we haven't been doing it. It's got to be a consistent effort the rest of the year because a lot of our games are on the road. I think we can get there. We have the team. We have the wherewithal within the games to attack people. But we have to finish games.
came game gave guard happen instead jazz took trying turned waited
The Jazz were the aggressors and they took the game over and we just caved in. We came out and gave it to them. We didn't guard them. We turned it over and we just waited for something to happen instead of trying to make it happen.
best easy expect feelings handle happen road
You can't expect him not to have feelings about this, but I expect him to be able to handle things. It's not been an easy situation. It's not the best thing to happen when you're on a six-game road trip.
kid
The kid is so explosive. He's going to get better. He's going to make it.
