against impatient mental mistakes played quarter second shot
I just thought in the first quarter (that) we made a lot of mental mistakes defensively that we can't make against this team. And in the second quarter, they shot it so well that it just snowballed. We got very impatient offensively, and that just played right into their hands.
continue stay talk trust within
I'll talk to Ron. He has to stay within the flow. He's going to continue to come out and be a factor. He's just got to trust his teammates. Hopefully, that's what he's going to do.
against played
I have nothing against the way we played (Thursday).
criteria league move office
I had no idea this was going to happen. But the criteria is set by the league office, and so that's the way it is. We have to move on.
I like what we're doing right now, how things are going.
came controlled floor guys hit marion offensive rattled
They'll let you back into the game, but they've been together. When you have Nash out there on the floor with Marion - especially Nash - those other guys were getting rattled and Nash came back in and hit a big shot. He controlled the offensive end.
came carried felt guys huge mike second
It was huge for us going into halftime. Mike just carried us in the first half, then other guys came through in the second half. I don't know how (the Nets) felt about it, but it was huge for us.
blew both easy ends fourth job missing
In the fourth quarter, we started missing it. They got easy opportunities and blew it open. We just have to do a better job on both ends of the court.
certain change everybody expect feelings goes quality season
He's such a quality individual. I never expect him to come out and not play hard. He's just got to find a way to get through this. Everybody has feelings at certain times, but those feelings can change as the season goes on.
hard impressive obviously time
He's just been a monster. They have a hard time guarding him. He's quick, he's aggressive, he's obviously strong. I think the most impressive thing is the way he rebounded the ball.
came care floor fought hardly nine played presence saw
I don't know how he played and fought through that. If you saw him yesterday, he was hardly walking, and then he came out here (and played). He doesn't care that he had nine points, he had a real presence on the floor defensively.
amazed came fought played walking
I don't know how he played and fought through it. (On Saturday) he wasn't even walking very good. He came in, and they were just amazed how spry he was.
envision trying
I didn't envision anything. At the time, we were just trying to right the ship. I didn't really know what was going to happen.
break floor gives grows guy people team time willing
He's very willing to do that. He gives us something we really haven't had: A guy that can put it on the floor and break people down. I think we should give it some time and see how this team grows together.
