I am extremely disappointed for our seniors that weren't able to get this game and extend their season. Our kids competed hard and played hard, but playing hard doesn't get you what you want. And what we wanted was a win.

A lot of these kids get rated in their junior year. There's a lot that happens between a kid's junior year and their senior year in terms of maturity, development and understanding the game. ... The ratings and all those things, that stuff never bothers me because we're going to make our evaluations.

After watching tape Friday night and after four days, there's been a lot of improvement since the first day that we were out here. We've got a lot of guys working hard and a lot of guys making some steps. We've still got a lot more that we want to accomplish, but I'm pleased so far with what's taken place through five days. So far we're healthy, too. We haven't lost anybody in five days, which is important.
