along balance east foes games gives good later mix mostly opponent road schedule season ten terms together week
The schedule gives us balance in terms of not being on the road more than one week at a time. I like that the Big East games are mostly together and later in the season while we also have a good mix of non-conference foes from the ACC, Big Ten and independents along with an old traditional opponent in Rhode Island.
army army-and-navy game iowa saw team watched
They all watched the Iowa State-Army game on television. They saw what kind of team Army had.
continue game handle offense plan run together
We'll continue to run our offense and put a game plan together that we know he'll be able to handle and that everyone will be able to execute.
extend extremely game hard kids played playing seniors
I am extremely disappointed for our seniors that weren't able to get this game and extend their season. Our kids competed hard and played hard, but playing hard doesn't get you what you want. And what we wanted was a win.
bunch confidence everybody game matter pick
We're a team. We're not a bunch of individuals. What everybody has to do is just pick their game up a little bit. It doesn't matter who is in there. We have confidence in them or we wouldn't put them in.
anybody game knew watched year
I think anybody that watched our punting game this year knew that it was a very inconsistent game to say the least.
continue five game passing practice practicing running weeks
He's been practicing the same plays, the same game plan, through those first five weeks that we were doing with Matt. We're going to just continue to go the way that we have been going. He can do the things we want in the running game and he can do the things we want in the passing game. Now we've just got to go and practice those things and let him do what we feel he can do the best.
answer game himself learn point questions rather
He's got to learn a game plan. He doesn't need any other distractions other than getting himself prepared, ... The more he can do that the better he'll feel going into the game rather than have to answer a lot of questions at this point in time.
game man moves sprint worry
He moves very well for a man his size. I don't worry about 40-times. If he's ever doing a 40-yard sprint on game day, something's wrong.
confidence everybody game good handle offense plan terms together utmost
I like everything about Dennis in terms of what he can do, ... I have the utmost confidence that he'll go out and do a good job. We'll put a game plan together that we know he'll be able to handle and that everybody on offense will be able to execute.
games guy rather
I'd much rather play our non-conference games first and then get into the conference. Every game is important, but I'm a guy that would much rather play the non-conference first.
carries distracted handled hoping people possibly practice rainy tried weather week
We tried to do everything we possibly could during this week of preparation to get him distracted on the practice field. I thought he handled things very well. We'll just have to just see if it carries over. I'm hoping the weather will be rainy and keep people away.
good
We got overwhelmed by a really good defense.
beginning nice outside practice regardless schedule whatever whether worry
The schedule that I've already made for beginning in August, I know this: Regardless of wind, rain, snow, sleet, whatever it may be, I'm never going to have to worry about changing. We can set a schedule and if I want to practice at 3:15 every day, we can practice at 3:15. Every day we're going to practice at 3:15 whether it's outside or it's inside. It will be nice when that day comes.
