He was manager of the Astros from July 14, 2004 to August 27, 2007, leading Houston to a World Series appearance in 2005...

I moved him for Morgan. When he came back from the hand injury, I wanted him in a position where guys are going to have to pitch to him and he's going to get pitches. The problem comes if somebody doesn't get to play, and that's the advantages of depth and it helps the team, but some individuals will get hurt. I don't how that's going to work.
