What separates Reggie is his extraordinary ability to plant his foot and go a different direction while at top speed. That's what separates him. Some guys have moves but no speed. Others have speed but no moves.
What my thoughts come back to about this football team right now, this is a program that has found a level of excellence. We'll get back to work and see how it comes together. We have great players coming on to offset the guys that are leaving.
We were on a torrid pace to self-destruct.
We just don't want to push it right now,
We just learning about this. At this point, this is being handled by the university's Student Affairs office, and we'll follow along with whatever action the university takes.
Twenty more yards of field position wasn't going to make a difference. The series before, Texas had great success moving the ball downfield. If we get the first down, we win the game.
You heard what he said. He wants to play with his teammates, he loves being here, and there's no amount of money that could take that away from him. I think that's an extraordinary statement.
To get this far this fast is impressive. We have to find out how far he can take it. He played particularly well in the last scrimmage. Cushing's able to hold his own, no doubt about it.
This wound up being a bend-but-don't break game, ... I hate to play like that, but that's what this game became. The opportunity to win was still there, and it came down to, 'Are you going to get it done, or aren't you?'
You gotta believe you're going to win the way that happened.
Before I talk to a coach, I usually talk to the athlete's guidance counselor to make sure he or she is qualified to attend Swarthmore.
Everybody will be kept in-house and great order, as well.
Every coach talks about turnovers, but it's how deeply you emphasize it is where you get consistency. Our guys are riddled with the thought of having to go get the ball at all times in everything that we're doing. It's the number one emphasis in the program for us.
The defenses are similar but the points of emphasis are different. We each do something a little different.
