I have to talk to him, make sure he's right for that.
I really need to see that play again. I didn't even get a chance to look at the replay, but it looked like a phenomenal play. It looked like he got stuck up in a pile of guys and he was able to spin around and get back out to get going. It was just a terrific play by an amazing football player.
I'm really disappointed. The whole team feels bad.
I'm sure the place is going to be nuts -- it's a tremendous place to play,
I haven't been anywhere past five years before. I don't know what this is like. To tell you the truth, I've been a mercenary coach my whole life.
I'm not worried about it. People have opinions and can think anything they want,
I like (the winning streak) a lot, and we're working to hold onto it. We have a chance to do something good again. (But) I don't care about what happened in the past. It's about getting ready for this week.
I'm confident that's not where this is going. The information that I have thus far, I don't think that's going to happen at all.
I'm concerned, ... When you play against good competition, those can be factors that set the tempo of the game for you. That has happened to us in the past three weeks. Hopefully we can rid ourselves of that. But I'm not dwelling on it, or thinking that it is the kind of team we are.
If Reggie didn't show it today, then I don't know what exactly it will take. It took him only a half to show that he was the best player in the country.
If Reggie Bush didn't show it today, I don't know what the heck else he has to do. What an incredible job of seizing the moment by him in the last couple of weeks.
I had a chance to talk to Coach Wooden and asked him about the question of repeating,
I want to see him get command of the situational stuff. I thought he handled it fine.
It's real simple. The series before they had great success moving down the field. If they get the ball, I don't know what yard line it was, but it's the 40 or so, whether they get it there ... or kick it 20 yards farther, it's not going to make a big difference.
