changed clearly extremely falling group interest investors opinion positive rates
I do think that there are a group of investors that have changed their opinion about interest rates and that is extremely positive for the market. We clearly do better in a falling interest rate environment.
reflection
I do think it is a reflection of our society. Fast, short-term and speculative in nature.
leadership people pull role trying
I do think he's trying to pull a leadership role here a little more than being the economist, and that leadership is trying to get people upbeat.
based improved improving investors major prices stock taking visibility worse
I don't think the visibility is improving but I think stock prices have improved based upon the acknowledgement by investors that fundamentals couldn't get any worse and the major deterioration is taking place now.
blown clearly continues market positive recovery sector start street strong surprised tech truly wall
I clearly think this is just another manifestation of a recovery that continues to be underestimated by the Wall Street community. Not only Cisco, but the whole tech sector has blown away estimates. I would be truly surprised if the market doesn't have strong futures and a positive start Thursday.

The economic strength that we've seen in the last six weeks has been what I call deflationary.
economic news strong supportive today
The economic news today has not been very supportive of a strong economic scenario.
companies earnings giving growth lifted people perception safe seems stocks trying
The Dow seems to be lifted because people are trying to resurrect the old growth stocks and giving them another try as a safe place to hide. The perception is that some of these companies are not currency- or energy-dependent enough for earnings to get hurt.
attract investors portfolio purely tech
The Dow is still going to attract because investors still want to diversify away from a purely tech portfolio and find value.
earnings host pain prior punishment reports slow work
The fundamental environment, because we still have a whole host of earnings reports to come out, could work to slow the rally. But much of the pain and punishment has already been absorbed prior to the end of the quarter.
clearly continue fall investors leadership resting seems
The fundamentals are clearly what investors continue to fall back on for their leadership and that leadership seems to be resting with the 'old economy' and the Dow.
