It would be an understatement to say I'm not happy about this.
As happy as the other locker room is, that's how disappointed we are. I think we were careless with the football and had too many penalties. And that combination against a good team like Pittsburgh is not a good combination.

It could be as simple as, 'How about we go through next year and if you're happy and I'm feeling good then we'll meet.' I really don't know.
At the end of the year, if you have a guy who scores 20 touchdowns, gains 1,500 yards, goes to the Pro Bowl, does all those things, you're probably happy you have him, ... And Shaun, I'm glad we have him. If you can have a guy not get hurt and play for you all season long, that will be a positive for your football team.
I'm very, very happy for Matt, and that is no secret. It's a good story to me because he overcame some adversity at the beginning of his career, and he played through some injuries. He's a mentally tough guy. Like all of us, there's a period of becoming a little more humble and then kind of coming out of it and going.
I asked the team if it was OK if we give Ray this week's ball, and they were very happy to do that. He was upstairs, and he minded the doctors' orders, pretty much.
I am very, very happy for Matt. He has been through a fair amount and emerged as a very fine player and a leader of this team. He has done it the old fashioned way. He has worked hard to develop his skill.
I've very, very proud of the job he has done. He is stronger and better because of some of the tough things he had to go through. He and I kind of banged around a little bit, but we're in a good place now.
It was uncharacteristic of my team to have that many penalties. We had a touchdown called back, a pass to the 1 called back and a punt return called back. That's tough. That's hard to overcome.
It was a nice second half. The team played very, very well, especially in the second half.
The Seattle football fans have probably gone through some stuff in their history, ... and now we want to give our fans a team they can be proud of, where they can be excited about it, talk about it and have hope.
is that he's just not passionate enough about football. But when we started talking basketball he got excited. I think he's going to get his rookie paycheck and cruise. He also didn't do well in the psychological profiling we did on him.
I've been fortunate to have an owner who has been patient with me. That's not always the case.
