I was very disappointed in the first half with the way we played. We were not sharp. Maybe I tried to get them too jacked up. Maybe we were too aggressive. We didn't execute well.

I was happy to be in the NFL, living the dream. I'd get to play in the preseason when Brett would play a series or two and I got to play a quarter and a half and my whole family would come to town for the game. They never wanted tickets for the playoff games or the regular-season games, just the preseason games.

I think if you put people in front of some huge temptation where it's possible to grab as much as they can for themselves, almost everyone will. The beauty of commerce is that it mutes that. The chap behind the counter in the corner shop has no interest in short-changing you, because he wants you to come back.

It excites me as a veteran here to see that we didn't give up and we did enough to win the game.

It gave me a little more time to feel the wind. Line up the putt, is what I call it. I just went out there and hit it like any extra point, and the ball was good enough and far enough.

I tend to take a common-sense approach to problem-solving, and oftentimes that involves the use of quantitative analysis. I do have an appreciation for the collection, analysis and application of information, both as it relates to our business operations and to our baseball operations.

It feels good when I'm throwing. It's just taking some hits sometimes right on it. I just have to do some exercises all summer and things like that. Once I strengthen it up, it'll be good.
