I was obsessed with movies, and it ended up being the tool with which I could make friends. Because I was too painfully shy in other circumstances, I would say, 'Hey, do you want to make a movie?' And that's how I made friends, and it was also my escape.

I was not looking forward to those yellow flags; they just gave (Martin) a chance to catch up with me. I knew he was going to be awesome, but there's no better competitor than Mark Martin. I knew he wasn't going to take me out.

I wasn't athletic as a kid, and I was self-conscious about my body, but then in eighth grade I won a school contest, and the prize was a bunch of personal training sessions.

I was a pretty normal high school kid. I just loved to play sports and had opportunities, and the Lord blessed me with talent, and I just tried to take advantage of it.

I would never want to live in L.A., and I made that decision years ago, so I never chose that path for myself, although I have much respect for those that do it at a high level.

I would loved to have finished as a state champ, but I'm glad I improved (from fourth to second) and got a chance to walk in the Grand March.

I would love to have that run-and-gun offense here and I think the guys we have would be really good at it. I'd also like a guy who could recruit the type of players that would work well in that offense and work well with the guys already here.

My character on 'Orange is the New Black' is not one that requires being absolutely shredded with 5% body fat. But I wouldn't be opposed to doing that for a role one day.
changes framework future prepares throughout
Most of the changes are under the hood, and this infrastructure prepares the framework for future improvements throughout the year.
field fueled great potential
Most of that is fueled by the great potential that we have on the field and on our roster.
