The lyrics are what I work on the hardest, but I'm not trying to make a perfectly clear message or anything like that. In fact, I'm usually trying to avoid saying something too directly, because usually that rings false anyway.

The best stories in our culture have some sort of subversiveness - Mark Twain, 'Catcher in the Rye.' You provide kids with great stories and teach them how to use the tools to make their own.

What an effort by my kids. These kids kept battling and battling. We had a chance. We kinda showed what Olympus is all about. We've got a lot of character and heart. O We knew we were heavy underdogs coming in. We were under the radar, and we were one shot away from going to the championship.
