We went into the game knowing we had to get this one. This feels so good. We had our backs against the wall, and you tell yourself we need a win. When you get it, it feels that much better.

We wanted Bryan to throw about 50 pitches today. You can see why we need him back, but he and the staff felt he needed to come out when he did.

We wanted a place that was on campus, even though this is a community church, we wanted to be right in the heart of campus because it's easy for the college (students) to get here, ... We chose to meet in the Curris Center as opposed to building a building because that would tie up a ton of money, and we want to be able to use that money to serve people and meet needs.

We wanted a contact hitter up there with their defense drawn in. It was one of those decisions where if he delivers he makes me look good, but it is up to him to do the work.

We have erosion, but we let the beach build back by itself. Some places we're losing, some places we're gaining. It's a natural process that's been going on for millions of years.

We could only have a tiny party in the front of our bus. We didn't break anything, nothing caught on fire. There wasn't any screaming or nudity. Basically we just realized that we were really lucky. And we wanted to continue to work hard to stay lucky.

We couldn't throw the ball in the ocean. We got decent looks, we just couldn't make a basket.

Both of those players are phenomenal athletes. I think that one of our keys to the win was that we wore them down late in the game.

Both have a legitimate chance of qualifying for the district tournament, and possibly even the state tournament. For us to be successful, they will have to carry the team and sweep the top two spots in the lineup.

Both guys have been up and down this year. To see them come together and play like they have bodes well for our team.

Both guys had great stuff. Everything was low and sinking, and that can make it hard.
boring
Boring is probably not the word. Frustrating is probably a better word.

Boomers will do aging on their own terms. At every stage in their lives, boomers have done it differently from their parents' generation. They won't be retiring so much as they'll be reinventing themselves.
