He's so conscientious. He wants to know everything about every play. He wants to know what every other guy is doing. Sometimes, I have to reel him in a little and remind him he has to worry about what he has to do. But, believe me, I'm not complaining.

He's extremely strong with the puck. When he goes into the corner, I'll take him nine out of 10 times. With him, it's sometimes not the prettiest goal, but he does what a lot of others don't like doing. He goes to the net hard and bangs away at rebounds. He plays mainly a checking role and plays against other teams' top players. His potential is unlimited.

Bottom line is he just wants you to do things his way and if you do that, things will work out and he will be happy and you won't have that friction as long as things are going well. It isn't all the on the quarterback but you just have to make it right.

He's the best player on our team, for sure. He might be the best player in the game.

He's just a veteran, he's a pro, he gets it. You're out there and it's loud, and he's recognizing the defense along with you.

He's just a few months out of college. That's unbelievable. It took me five years to get to where he is now. You obviously don't get here that quick without talent.
