Martin Pierre Brodeuris a Canadian former ice hockey goaltender and the assistant general manager of the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League. In his 21-season tenure with the New Jersey Devils, he won three Stanley Cup championships and five Eastern Conference titles in 17 postseason campaigns. It was nice to have home ice advantage against these guys and we took advantage of it. The guys played well offensively, we buried some great opportunities and special teams again was a big factor. We put ourselves in a great position but we've got to make the best out of it.

There's a lot of defense to our games. I think we're able to play somewhat of a trap. We are able to funnel people on the ice to where we want them to be, to where we think we will be able to defend. It's similar to a trap, but we are playing it a little differently than before because there is no red line. We are relying more on position hockey than anything.

When he got the pass, he kind of looked right away to see if somebody was open. He never looked at me until he shot the puck. I felt like I was in good enough position to be able to turn my body just a little bit to react to a pass and he just snuck it right through me.

I think it's going to get harder and hard to do. I was in the position to be able to do it. I don't think too many guys are going to be able to do that with the different way the system works now.

The last win is always the toughest win. Whether it's the Rangers or any other team, it's tough to put a team away and we are definitely in good position to do that.

I'm sure it's not where everybody thought we'd be. Hopefully, the suicide game will be good for us. A lot of times it brings out the best in players. We need these players to step up and get us through the next game.
