Martin Pierre Brodeuris a Canadian former ice hockey goaltender and the assistant general manager of the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League. In his 21-season tenure with the New Jersey Devils, he won three Stanley Cup championships and five Eastern Conference titles in 17 postseason campaigns. I got it with the paddle of my stick. I think he ran out of real estate. He's the one who scored that big goal against me (in the Olympics), so it was kind of nice to stop him. But it was not really a decisive save though.

When he got the puck there I was thinking about the Olympics against Corey Hirsch. That was a big goal for him.
He's been always really good against us. I don't remember the last time (the Devils' scored five goals on Hasek). I'm sure we did it, but I'm not sure when. We had so many opportunities tonight early in the game and he still made some great saves.

The rules are there and there is a lot more flow to the game. If we are able to play this way and not take a lot of penalties, you'll see this more and more from our team. It's not just me. All the guys are excited that we are able to shut down good teams.
I've played enough in the NHL to know most of these guys. Most of the time I know their tendencies. I've been lucky. I've been fortunate to make some saves and help us win some games.
It was tough to get going right away and I think you saw that. It (the Italian goal) was good for the fans and they got excited. But we knew it was just a matter of time before we would score.
These were big games for us. It's nice to see us dominate them.
These nights are going to happen. It's definitely disappointing to do that against a team like that, but that's the way it is.
