ball free inside shot throws
I'm not going to get on the whistles. They shot free throws because they got the ball inside and they were aggressive.
comment emphasis happy point
I'm not going to comment any more. That's not my point of emphasis right now. I'm just happy he was back.
key
I'm not down on Eddy Curry. I think Eddy Curry is a key to our team.
active commenting players talking
I'm not commenting on Jerome. He's not on the active list. I'm talking about active players right now.
defend hope players willing
I hope we get players in here who want to defend and we keep the ones who have that as a priority. I think that's the only way you can win. Generally, if a guy's willing to defend, he's going to be unselfish, he's always going to play hard, and he's probably going to have unbelievable character.
hope players
I hope we get players in here who want to defend. And keep the ones who make that a priority.
hope players
I hope we get players in here that want to defend. I hope the players we keep, that's a priority.
hope
I hope there's a lot more like him. We'd all be better for it.
allow blew crowd guys heads hung past putting
In the past when we blew a lead, there would have been a lot of guys putting their heads down. But the crowd didn't allow us to do that, and we hung on.
against coaching good hate honest job nba people playing pressure puts quality season speed step three
I really didn't know what to expect, to be honest with you. You hate to put three of them out there together, playing in an NBA season against quality teams. That puts a lot of pressure on them. But they're good kids, they want to get better. It's going to speed up their growth, so we have to have some other people step up and we have to do a better job coaching them. But they're getting better.
anybody best career conference effect eric finals free given guard nba outcome point rein surely workman
If you're the best player, surely you're going to have some effect on the outcome of a game. And I've said this from Day 1: I've never given anybody in my career more free rein in my career. And I went to the conference finals (in Indiana) with Haywood Workman as a point guard. With Eric Snow, who was the fourth-string point guard in Seattle. He went to the NBA Finals (with Philadelphia).
ball guards less pass rebound
If you want to run, if your guards can rebound the ball that's one less pass you have to make on the break.
apply gum individual
If you were to apply this literally, you could have 1,800 residents (city's population) making individual allegations. That could gum up the works.
audition guys stuff
I know what we have. You guys know what we have. There's no audition. That audition stuff has been over a long time.
