We try to improve every game. We feel like we can get better and better. The battle on the boards (with Wisconsin) was tied, 32-32. That's an area we have to win, so we feel like there's always something we can do better.

We've been very good all year long and tonight was just more of the same.

Their shots were deep, and oftentimes we had a hand in their face. Our guys made plays and there were very few mistakes. Some of the shots Notre Dame hit were from 35-40 feet. If you step out on those, it's bad defense. It was a game for the ages and I'm just glad we battled and found a way to win.
