breaks everybody fifth game players together
This was really only our fifth game with everybody together this year. We're just now getting into a rhythm. With the (vacation) breaks we had, some players being ineligible and other stuff, we weren't able to put it together before now.
continuing game guys matter pressure rather reason three until wait
There's no reason to have to do it. I'd rather keep the pressure on. We won't wait until game day, though, but I don't feel any pressure to do anything right now. It's just a matter of the three guys continuing to work. I want to keep looking.
earth games imagine talked whatever
I've talked to her after games and she is just the most down-to-earth person you could meet. I can imagine just being her coach. She does whatever you need her to do to.
believe delay emotion game hurt lost ourselves personal
I'd like to believe we hurt ourselves more than they hurt us. It was dysfunctional management. We had to use timeouts, we had a delay of game penalty, two personal fouls ... We lost our emotion out there, and it hurt us.
east excited game teams west
We're excited that it's a Big East game, and we're excited that it's West Virginia. For 50 years, this game has been going on. These two teams know each other very well.
atmosphere early game
It's one thing to go the day before the game when it's empty. It's another thing to go early enough on the day of the game where you can feel the atmosphere already a little bit.
atmosphere ball coaching embrace game hard players practice style though time tried whatever work worked
We try to play the game on the practice field. Any time players can feel in a simulated-type atmosphere where it's like a ball game, they like it. Even though it's hard work and it's competitive and all of those things, that's our intent. Fun, or whatever it is, I feel like our players have worked really hard. I think that they've tried to embrace our style of coaching that we've brought.
amount basketball coaching cross game great heard informed line quite tim today underdog
I think (defensive line coach) Tim Cross made a great statement: 'It isn't about if we can play with them, but we need to win,' ... I was informed today that we were underdogs. I was informed of the amount (21 points). I will tell you, in my coaching career, this is the most I've ever heard that I was an underdog in a game other than a basketball game that I did win. Obviously, we have quite a test.
execution football game last name seen team time worry
We have to worry about getting better. That's the name of the game for us right now. The execution is better. I think (fans are) going to see a more experienced football team than they've seen at this time last year.
college florida focus liked matter pleased tough
I liked the way we worked. It doesn't matter where you are - in college or in the NFL, it's tough in a bye week. I was pleased with our work, now we'll focus more on Florida State.

coach coming excited fine goes group job talked teaching
I'm very excited about (White) coming to be our quarterback coach. I've been very impressed, and I've talked with him about his philosophy, his fundamentals and the teaching progression that a quarterback or a group of quarterbacks goes through. He'll do a fine job in that area.
couple holes matter offense run
It wasn't a matter of just getting Damien untracked, but getting the whole offense untracked. Damien would be the first to tell you that there were a couple holes there that I could have run through.
