effort focus lost period second
I thought the effort was good. I think we lost our focus in the second period when we could of put the Flyers away.
focus lost period second
I think we lost our focus in the second period when we could have put the Flyers away.
focus lost period second
I think we lost our focus in the second period when we could (have) put the Flyers away.
again applying blocking great jersey job killer life penalty picked shots smart
I think we picked up life from the New Jersey game. Our penalty killing is unbelievable, and once again our penalty killer is Garnett. Our forwards and our defensemen also are doing a great job blocking shots and applying pressure. We're making smart decisions.
chance confidence definitely easy giving growing michael morning players playing reward
I said this morning that in this business, you have to reward the players that are playing well, and Michael Garnett is definitely giving us a chance to win. It's pretty easy to say his confidence is growing, and our confidence in him is growing also.
adversity desire easy faced guys tons
Just the way those guys battled all night, it's easy to say we have a desire to be in the playoffs. We faced tons of adversity (Thursday night). Read between the lines.
ahead credit deserves good happened lots man means obviously process
I think it means a lot for Dany and it means a lot obviously for us because we all know what happened and the process that Dany had to go through. I think that this young man deserves lots of credit for not only doing it in a very good way, but also getting ahead of schedule.
chances couple decisions face felt game good key moments positive power saw situations step tough
I think it's a very positive first step. He had some real good chances on the power play. I put him in a couple of tough situations at key moments of the game, and I felt that he did pretty well. But let's face it, this is step one. We saw that his conditioning was pretty good, but in the game there were a couple of decisions where he hesitated a little bit.
game good winning
I think that was another good day for Dany. Winning the game makes it a better day.
bit both doctors good guys hopefully loose moving players puck seemed time towards
He seemed to me moving a little bit towards the end so hopefully that is a good sign. He was going for a loose puck and both guys collided. They didn't have much time to react. You never like to see any players go down. The doctors were in there very quickly.
best players simple simply
Our best players are simply not our best players right now, it's as simple as this.
dominant factor front great moved puck
He was the dominant factor in this game, no doubt. The one thing we could have done was get in front of him better. But we moved the puck well, made some great decisions. But we couldn't finish.
asking committed defensive elite playing wants
He's committed and he wants to get better on the defensive side. I want him to be very responsible. I'm asking a lot out of a 20-year-old kid, but on the other hand, he's playing like an elite player. And he is an elite player.
effort sure
He handles it well, but to give him a five-goal cushion, I'm sure he appreciates the effort from the boys.
