cost goal hurts plays power score winning
Power plays cost us the game. If you don't score it's one thing. But if you give up the winning goal on your power play, that's where it hurts the most.
games hope lose obviously start stay teams winning
It's tough, because if you lose, you obviously lose ground, and if you win, you stay there. We just have to keep winning games and hope teams start getting in trouble.
chance credit great jersey race stand stay tampa winning
We have to give credit to Tampa Bay, New Jersey and Montreal. They have put on some great streaks, but by winning our games, we stay in the race and stand a chance to win.
winning priorities decision
I never look at salaries. I have no aspirations of being a general manager or anything like that, I want to coach. For me there is no dollar signs on the towels, no dollar signs on their jerseys, I will make the decisions based on who is going to make us win. For me, that is my only priority.
focus settling time winning
Our focus is on winning that game. We have no time for that. It's all about winning our games, not about settling any scores.
bigger fair losing mistake mistakes putting riding seems winning
I think that's a fair assessment. When you're on a winning streak, it seems you can't do anything wrong, and even when you do something wrong, it seems that it's overshadowed by something bigger or better. When you're riding a losing streak, it seems you're always just one mistake from putting yourself back in that big hole.
game good winning
I think that was another good day for Dany. Winning the game makes it a better day.
cares club consistent deserves excellent great individual offensive player speed strong success winning
He has been our most consistent two-way player all year, and I can use him in any situation. He's an excellent offensive player with great speed and he is unbelievably strong on the puck. He cares about the team's success and winning more than individual stats. He's an important part of our club and he deserves the recognition he is getting.
andy couple dirty fights finish honest looks occurred player players seconds since tried worse
Andy Sutton is not a dirty player by any means. I think he's a very honest player and he just tried to finish his check. It's unfortunate and you never like to see players get injured. But it was one of those things. I think since it occurred just a couple of seconds after all those fights it looks way worse than what it is.
effort good great hockey playing push skating
Right now we are playing good hockey and making a push for the playoffs. I thought the effort was great and we are skating very well.
league lots unknowns
Right now, there's lots of unknowns and speculation. Let's let the league do their stuff.
looking
We went so long looking for the NHL goalie we were expecting. Now we have him.
boom coaching deal follow fortunate fraternity friend great head honored incredible lead man meant sincerely
Boom Boom was an incredible man who meant a great deal to me and I'm fortunate to have called him a friend and mentor. I'm sincerely honored to be a part of the same coaching fraternity and to follow his lead as an NHL Head Coach in Atlanta.
dominated good news though three
Even though they've pretty much dominated us in the first three games, the good news is we're still right there with them.
