cares club consistent deserves excellent great individual offensive player speed strong success winning
He has been our most consistent two-way player all year, and I can use him in any situation. He's an excellent offensive player with great speed and he is unbelievably strong on the puck. He cares about the team's success and winning more than individual stats. He's an important part of our club and he deserves the recognition he is getting.
great paying start
He was just being the Scott Mellanby that started with us at the start of the year. He's a great competitor. He's at the net, he's paying the price.
collect confidence dues felt good kid looked paid time worker
He looked like an NHL goalie. He felt very comfortable. Right now his confidence should be at the top. He's a good worker and a good kid and he's paid his dues in the organization, so the time has come for him to collect the reward.
dressing guys playing room seeing within
We're playing with passion. These guys never quit. We're seeing within our dressing room guys committed, playing sick, and hurt.
balanced best building certainly four leave plus team tough weaknesses win
That's a team that is one of the best when it comes to four balanced lines. There's no weaknesses and they are tough to play. So to leave this building with a win is certainly a big plus for us.
game half hard hockey last month playoff riding seen
That's as down as I've seen a hockey club. We've been riding them so hard in the last month and a half that they were drained. I think that's understandable because every game was like a playoff game for us.
either generate goal good last matter miss net scoring seems three
The last three games, it seems like we can't generate a good scoring chance. And when we have it, we either miss the net or the goalie comes up with a big save. Our big goal scorers are pressing. They're tight. We know what we have and it is just a matter of getting this thing to click.
adversity changed chemistry either goes happen people rather time wrong
I really think that we changed the chemistry of the team. Sometimes it goes either way. For us it went the wrong way. You know what, I'd rather see this happen at this time of the year. Adversity makes people better.
hit problem
If there's a problem with that hit then I'll retire.
guy mix word
He's the guy with the most experience. When you first look at him, he's been a captain, he can score, play defense, mix it up. That combines to one word and that's respect.
left pick sure whatever
For sure they're going to go with him. We're going to pick up whatever is left of him when it's over.
definitely period positive quite second third
I definitely didn't like our second period. But the positive is that in the third period we regrouped and put on quite a shot.
couple sharp
Garnett wasn't as sharp on a couple of goals, but he is a young goalie.
pat
I'm going to say that Pat Quinn can say what he wants. I don't care.
