Robert Hartleyis a hockey coach who was most recently the head coach for the Calgary Flames in the National Hockey League. He coached the Colorado Avalanche from 1998–2002, a period during which he won the Stanley Cup. He also coached the Atlanta Thrashers from the 2003–04 NHL season up until the beginning of the 2007–08 NHL season, when he was fired after the Thrashers got off to an 0–6 start. It's two incidents basically a couple of games apart. It's bad timing. We're playing obviously awful right now, so obviously everything is thrown at us and rightfully so. Right now, we're getting what we deserve, it's as simple as this.

It's not like one player out of 600 is playing with an illegal stick. The list of guys playing with illegal sticks is pretty known around the league. It's like speeding on the road. You're not allowed to speed, but sit beside the 55-mph sign on I-85 at night and put your radar on it. Many people will easily go over.

It's too bad that we gave up that goal at the end, but that's going to happen. We found a way to come back and win it, which is a sign of a team that is desperate, but we're still on a mission.

It's funny how human nature works. You get a big guy back, and suddenly you think that the goals are just going to come.

It's just another important win. They're all big wins. We're desperate. We didn't get the start (of the game) we were looking for. But we got back to our game and got some great goals. (It's) just another two points and there's a lot of hockey to be played.

It's tough, because if you lose, you obviously lose ground, and if you win, you stay there. We just have to keep winning games and hope teams start getting in trouble.
