The body is the temple of the Lord; the atmosphere of this temple is by its very nature filled with Love for all beings.

The body is false, but they believe it to be true; it is like a dream in the night.
alert awake both guardians thy
The two sages Alert and Watchful, the sleepless and the vigilant, these two guardians of thy life's breath, are awake both day and night.
break power thy
The two canals, fashioned by the gods, in which man's power rests, in thy testicles . . . . . . . . . . . . I break them with a club.
desert good
They desert you even when you are alive, O madman; what good can they do when someone is dead?
eat gifts help laziness wear
They wear and eat the gifts from the Lord; how can laziness help them, O mother?
bonds myriad praises sing trapped treasure wander
They wander around lost, trapped in the myriad bonds of Maya; they do not sing the Praises of the Treasure of Virtue.
break mattress member thus thy women
As women break reeds for a mattress with a stone, thus do I break thy member
bland body insipid mind rendered tastes
All other tastes are bland and insipid; through them, the body and mind are rendered insipid as well.
along calf mind placed run thee thy water
About thee (my husband) I have placed the overpowering (plant), upon thee placed the very overpowering one. May thy mind run after me as a calf after the cow, as water along its course!
abstinence bless deeds ensures freedom good health sinful
Abstinence from sinful deeds not only ensures freedom from 'pains' but it also bless us with good health and long life.

A brahmachari is he, who tries to attain enlightenment while he is alive and aspires for 'salvation' after his death. He incessantly makes efforts to improve upon his intellect and knowledge and to treads on the path of truth. Quite naturally gods are pleased by him and dwell in his heart.
acts becomes both dwell earth gods heaven paths treading
A 'brahmachari' (a celibate) acts in such a way that treading the paths of both earth and heaven becomes a pleasurable experience; that is why all the Gods always dwell with him(in his heart).
anger beings emotional forgotten held immortal mortal power sexual
The mortal beings are held in the power of sexual desire, anger and emotional attachment; they have forgotten the Lord, the Immortal Form.
