The monks have tried everything and failed; the virtuous have grown weary of singing God's Glories.

Deities became his protector.... resolutions his messengers and people sat in his company.
clothes death fold friend halo kindly merciless takes
Death is not the merciless that he is made out to be; he is the friend and companion, the teacher, the kindly kinsman, who takes you into his fold and clothes you with the halo of remembrance.
act creeping egoism envy feet fragrance free full love offer talents worms
Offer your talents at the feet of God; let every act be a flower, free from creeping worms of envy and egoism and full of the fragrance of love and sacrifice.
beings call carries existing full highest jar placed time
A full jar has been placed upon Time; him, verily, we see existing in many forms. He carries away all these beings (worlds); they call him Time in the highest heaven.
alone along beloved creator friend name shall
The Name of the Creator is your beloved friend and child; it alone shall go along with you, O my mind.
aloud catch handle move music name neck pull singing thereafter
The music that can take them is the singing aloud the Name of God. And when they are too intoxicated to move and harm, catch them by the neck and pull out their fangs as the charmer does. Thereafter they can be your play things; you can handle them as you please.
dog father house lord mother people relations round shall
The mother shall sleep, the father shall sleep, the dog shall sleep, the lord of the house shall sleep! All her relations shall sleep, and these people round about shall sleep!
adoration god limit loyalty name particular province
Adoration of God has to be through one name and one form; but, that should not limit your loyalty to that particular province only.
fulfills god spends time worry
A devotee, who spends his time in austerities has nothing to worry about as God fulfills all his needs.
filled humble lord love minds name support treasures universe
The One Lord of the Universe is the Support of His humble servants. They love the One Lord; their minds are filled with love for the Lord. The Name of the Lord is all treasures for them.
dwells lord master saint seen wilderness
The One Lord and Master dwells in the home; He is seen in the wilderness as well. I have become fearless; the Saint has removed my doubts.
guard hail protect reverence shall
They shall guard thee, they shall protect thee. Reverence be to them. Hail be to them!
earned fair forms highway means money various wealth
LAKSHMI or wealth accrues by fair means as well as foul; money is earned by gambling, by various forms of deceit; by highway robbery; by high and low; by all and sundry.
