They're as talented, as deep, and as good as anyone you could possibly face.
capable certainly concerned couple damage explosive guys juniors playing prominent seniors shown win
They have some explosive guys who are tough, experienced. They have shown they can win anywhere, anytime, especially with juniors and seniors playing prominent roles. ? They can play a couple different styles. We certainly feel they're capable of a lot of damage to a lot of different people, so we're very concerned with them.
struggle
It was really a struggle for us offensively.
energy momentum
It was a spectacular play. It was a big momentum play. You could see their energy increase. It was demoralizing to us.
beating conference league played shown stay teams tough year
It's a very tough league and the way our teams have played all year and now with everyone beating each other in conference play it will only stay that way. This league has shown its mettle over the long haul.
ball beginning deeper nice players remember seniors talked
It's nice to have seniors remember those things, and internalize those things that we talked about at the beginning of the season. Having players back makes us a much deeper team, and it makes us a different ball club.
heart second throats veterans
They rammed it down our throats the first part of the game. But the second half, our veterans really showed something. We showed some heart and toughness.
basketball beyond certainly coming emotional fans game happy loss pleased saturday thinking win
We're pleased - we're pleased for our school, pleased for our fans and our alums. I'm really pleased for our players. Thinking anything beyond that, it's a game for us right now. ... We have a game coming up here on Saturday (against Wisconsin). We always know a follow-up of an emotional win or loss is always critical. We're happy about the win tonight, but we certainly know there's a lot of basketball to be played.
hole key maturity second stops
We started to get some stops in the second half, and that was a key for us. We did some things that kind of put us in a hole early, but we showed some maturity to claw our way back in, and we didn't panic.
kids
We have no one to blame. That's what I wanted the kids to know.
information
We have no more information on him. He's out indefinitely.
bring choice fight game spirit tough
We have no choice and it's going to be a tough game. It's going to be a competitive game and I'll be very disappointed if we don't bring the fight and spirit that we had here tonight.
confident thick
We're still in the thick of things. I'm confident we're going to be fine.
basketball grow love michigan position
We've been able to grow together. I love that about this group. They've done a lot to be able to put Michigan basketball in the position it deserves, which is a winning, first-class program.
